My name is Dr. Amanda Donnelly. I earned my master’s degree in counseling at St. Cloud State University, and my doctoral degree in health psychology at California School of Professional Psychology. I have been providing therapy since 2011. I am both a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor.
I have worked in several different kinds of settings with patients dealing with many different mental health issues. I now specialize in health psychology. Presently, I focus my clinical practice on patients struggling with psychological aspects of physiological complaints, such as sleep issues, chronic pain, irritable bowel syndrome, fibromyalgia, headaches, and more. In addition, I also work with patients experiencing: depression, fatigue, irritability, relationship issues, social anxiety, phobias, loneliness, and more. I use evidence-based therapy, including cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness, to help my patients work through these types of struggles with treatment techniques backed by research. I offer an approach that is nonjudgmental, and I encourage my patients to share as much as they would like. Then, together, we decide how and where to implement change. I understand scheduling can be difficult, so in addition to normal business hours, I also offer appointments before and after the typical workdays.
