Meet Dr. Lisa Wilke |
Dr. Lisa Wilke PsyD, LP
Clinic Director Psychologist |
My name is Dr. Lisa Wilke. I am a Doctor of Psychology and Licensed Psychologist. I have earned a master's degree in counseling and doctorate degree in psychology from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota. As a mental health professional, I have worked in a variety of settings, helping patients with many different presenting problems. However, I specifically focus my clinical practice on helping patients manage toxic stress, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, mood dysregulation, relationship issues, trauma, parenting concerns, and career adjustment.
My clinical approach emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space for my patients to share their story, obtain support, and implement change. Furthermore, I strive to utilize evidence-based techniques. Thus, I frequently offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) modalities for managing distress. I am also trained in EMDR which is a modality used to help those who have experienced trauma. In our first meeting, we will go over your specific needs and how I can help you. Through telehealth, I am able to provide online therapy throughout several states within the United States due to PSYPACT. PSYPACT is a psychology interjurisdictional compact program which allows those that participate to practice psychology using telehealth in all participating states. Current active PSYPACT states include the following: Alabama (AL), Arizona (AZ), Arkansas (AR), Colorado (CO), Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNI), Connecticut (CT), Delaware (DE), District of Columbia (DC), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Idaho (ID), Illinois (IL), Indiana (IN), Kansas (KS), Kentucky (KS), Maine (ME), Maryland (MD), Michigan (MI), Minnesota (MN), Missouri (MO), Nebraska (NE), Nevada (NV), New Hampshire (NH), New Jersey (NJ), North Carolina (NC), North Dakota (ND), Ohio (OH), Oklahoma (OK), Pennsylvania (PA), Rhode Island (RI), South Carolina (SC), Tennessee (TN), Texas (TX), Utah (UT), Virginia (VA), Washington (WA), West Virginia (WV), Wisconsin (WI), and Wyoming (WY). To learn more about this program you can visit the PSYPACT website at Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT). Please note, I am out-of-network with medical insurance which means I do not directly submit to insurance companies. I will provide a "superbill" for you to potentially get reimbursed from your insurance company, if you have coverage. I accept HSA/FSA accounts to cover services. Additionally, I work directly with some Employment Assistance Programs (EAPs). To find out if I work with your employer's EAP, please contact us or your benefits department. |
