To get started schedule a diagnostic assessment appointment. This appointment is up to one hour in length and your first step in therapy or psychological testing. Please be aware we have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule for any reason, please do so outside of a 24 hour window. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment or do not present for your session, please be aware you will be charged.
When you schedule an appointment with us online, we will confirm your session and send you the initial paperwork. Please complete your paperwork within 48 hours of receiving it. If you do not receive a confirmation email, check your spam folder. If you are unable to locate your confirmation email, please contact us as it is important we have your paperwork prior to the appointment. Please read over the documentation carefully to ensure you understand your rights and our practice policies. The information you provide in the questionnaires will help your therapist prepare for your work together, so please do your best to be accurate and thorough.
Remember once you are a patient, you will have access to the client portal. You will be able to schedule your appointments, view invoices, message your therapist for rescheduling, and exchange documents in this secure platform. Ask your therapist about the client portal if you have questions.
Insurance Coverage
If using insurance is important to you, please contact your insurance company before scheduling an appointment to understand your benefits and out-of-pocket expenses. We are considered an out-of-network provider. We will provide you with the appropriate documentation to submit to your insurance company, if you have coverage. Not all services are reimbursable by insurance. Know that insurance companies typically require that a clinical diagnosis is submitted to them for reimbursement. This means that they will have access to some of your confidential information. Please be informed of the limits of confidentiality when using insurance. Know that you are not required to use insurance.
Whether or not you choose to use insurance, you can use your health savings or flexibility spending accounts to pay for services. We charge an hourly rate for counseling and psychological testing services. Payment is due at the time of service. Our fee schedule is listed in the new patient paperwork you will receive via email when scheduling your first appointment. Please contact our office if you have questions.
